Keynote: THE SILICON VALLEY MINDSET: What we can learn from world champion innovators, and combine with the strengths of our industry

How do Silicon Valley companies like Google, Apple, Netflix, Uber and Tesla create innovations that change our lives? What can we learn and combine with the strengths of our industry?

Keynote Speaker:
Dr. Mario Herger heads up the “boutique” consulting firm Enterprise Garage Consultancy, and has been a resident of Silicon Valley since 2001. He researches and writes books on technology trends, and advises companies on topics like innovation, intrapreneurship, creativity, the Silicon Valley mindset and gamification. He worked as Head of Development and an innovation strategist at SAP, among other positions. Now he helps companies apply Silicon Valley’s entrepreneurial spirit in their organizations.
He is a mentor at German Accelerator and Bootstrap Labs and advises startups. In addition to holding workshops on “intrapreneurship”, innovation, creativity, the Silicon Valley mindset and gamification for startups, small and medium-sized enterprises. For more information, see Enterprise Garage.
Herger organizes inspirational tours to Silicon Valley that visit many of the personalities and companies presented in his book and blog.
He has written several books, the last two being “The Silicon Valley Mindset: What we can Learn from World Champion Innovators and Combine with our Strengths.” (published in March 2016) and “The Last Driver’s License Holder Has Already Been Born: How Rapid Advances in Automotive Technology will Disrupt Life As We Know It and Why This is a Good Thing.” (published in October 2017).
