Review - THAT WAS THE INTERALPIN 2023

The world's leading trade fair proves its global power.

The presence of all the key players in the international ropeway and alpine technology industry, the premieres of world firsts and innovative technologies and the high level of interest shown by trade visitors and decision-makers from all continents, including the Indian Minister for Transport and high-ranking international business delegations, underpinned INTERALPIN's position as the leading industry platform.

After a four-year break due to Covid-19, the 24th edition of INTERALPIN demonstrated its enduring global strength and appeal as the world's leading trade fair. For three days, the Alpine metropolis of Innsbruck became the centre of the ropeway and alpine technology industry for more than 35,000 trade visitors from all over the world.

Interalpin Inspiration Days

At the INTERALPIN Inspiration Days, visitors could look forward to top-class keynote speeches and presentations on topics such as sustainability and digitalization. Dr. Eduardo Santander, Executive Director of the European Travel Commission from Brussels, was invited to give the opening keynote.

Österreichische Seilbahntagung

The Austrian Ropeway Conference showed what is important today and will become increasingly relevant in the future. Under the title “Sustainability - ecology, economy, social issues”, workshops were held on topics such as energy autonomy for ropeways and new approaches to tourist mobility.

Snow Crystal Gala

The SNOW CRYSTAL GALA 2025 celebrated 50 years of INTERALPIN - with 650 guests, prominent guests of honour and the presentation of the prestigious ‘Snow Crystal of Winter Sports’. The award, which has been presented since 1992 for outstanding achievements in popularising skiing, went to ORF this year. With this award, the ÖSV honours a medium that has accompanied and shaped winter sports for decades and brought it into the living rooms of the country with great commitment.

INTERALPIN Golf Trophy

For over a decade now, leading figures from the cable car and tourism industry have been meeting at the INTERALPIN Golf Trophy for a sporty and competitive exchange. The 13th edition not only celebrated the success of INTERALPIN 2023 but also looked ahead to INTERALPIN 2025.
