INTERALPIN 2025 officially opened by Federal Minister Hattmannsdorfer

The 25th anniversary edition of INTERALPIN was opened on Tuesday morning by the Federal Minister for Economic Affairs, Energy and Tourism, Dr Wolfgang Hattmannsdorfer, in front of a full audience from all over the world at Messe Innsbruck.
Politics and business emphasise the high relevance of the trade fair
In addition to the Federal Minister, Dipl.- BW (FH) Director Christian Mayerhofer (Managing Director of Congress Messe Innsbruck), Astrid Steharnig-Staudinger (Managing Director of Österreich Werbung), Barbara Thaler (President of the Tyrolean Chamber of Commerce), Franz Hörl (retired Member of the Austrian Parliament), Johannes Anzengruber, BSc (Mayor of the provincial capital of Innsbruck), Elisabeth Zehetner (State Secretary for Energy, Start-ups and Tourism at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs, Energy and Tourism) and Anton Mattle (Governor of the Province of Tyrol). Elisabeth Zehetner (State Secretary for Energy, Start-ups and Tourism in the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs, Energy and Tourism) and Anton Mattle (Governor of the Province of Tyrol) gave introductory speeches and emphasised the central role of INTERALPIN for the local business and tourism location as well as for the global cable car and alpine technology industry.
Focus on innovation and dialogue over the next four days
INTERALPIN 2025 brings together over 650 exhibitors from more than 50 nations and offers the central international platform for exchanging information on the latest innovations and technologies in the industry. Over the past few years, the trade fair has established itself as an indispensable meeting place for decision-makers to conclude business deals and discuss future-oriented projects. By Friday afternoon, no fewer than 35,000 visitors from all over the world are expected to attend. There is plenty of exciting content on the specialist programme, including the INTERALPIN Inspiration Days, which offer high-calibre keynotes and expert presentations on current industry topics. The General Assembly of the International Organisation of the Ropeway Industry (OITAF) will also take place, providing further insights into developments in the industry.
INTERALPIN 2025 is not only a showcase for innovations, but also an important driving force for sustainable development in ropeway and alpine technology. The trade fair will show how the industry is responding to the challenges of the future and setting new standards in terms of comfort, safety, environmental friendliness and urban mobility.
