Sunkid Mountaincoaster

World premiere: Mountain Coaster 2.0 (Booth A25)

At the last Interalpin to date in 2019, the world of Sunkid celebrated the launch of the Mountain Coaster as its latest product. Long-proven monorail system, easy maintenance as well as fast assembly and dismantling convinced many customers and thus numerous new installations have been built all over the world since then. In 2023, the Mountain Coaster 2.0 will make its trade fair debut - designed for fun and action in all weather conditions and seasons. In addition to a modernized design, this one is writing a completely new chapter for the "summer toboggan run", especially in the areas of comfort and safety thanks to smart assistance systems. The toboggan shell already gives a visual foretaste of the sporty, racy ride characteristics of the Sunkid Mountain Coaster 2.0, with the addition of LED headlights and taillights as well as an optional backpack tray on the backrest, which can be folded with a simple mechanism.

The basic design, including redefined logo areas, also allows for a wide variety of individual customer theming. The amount of space available, especially when an adult and child (up to 12 years of age) travel together, has increased many times over. Ergonomically shaped backrest (incl. seat cushion) and toboggan shell form a "dynamic unit" and increase seating comfort with two possible positions for foot support (also widened for large (ski) boots). A newly integrated intelligent assistance and braking system increases safety - by actively regulating the speed and distance between the toboggans. In addition to all the innovations relating to the passenger, the easy handling of the lightweight toboggan is still guaranteed for operators and personnel. This means that new customers can often continue to use their existing "uphill infrastructure" - whether surface lift, chairlift or gondola lift - in a cost-effective manner.

The first customer project "Mountain Coaster 2.0" will be built in Trysil, Norway, in summer 2023. At Interalpin, interested visitors will be able to take a seat in the new coaster for the first time, explore the exact functioning of the new braking system and assistance systems, and talk to Sunkid project management about customized solutions.
